Traditional dance performances can be seen at the Centre. Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance troupe can also be booked to perform at functions and venues outside of the Cultural Centre.

Historic Museum
The Cultural Centre contains an Interpretive Gallery, housing an exclusive collection of historic and contemporary artifacts along with information that has been collected from within the Northern Region. Guided tours of the interpretive gallery can enrich the experience and are available on request.

The Culture Centre – Townsville is a distinctive venue themed with fascinating traditional and contemporary Indigenous Culture.You may choose to hire the Riverside Deck overlooking the Marina or our Performance space inside for your next function.

Retail Store and Fine Arts Gallery

Gifts and souvenirs are available for purchase in the Retail Gallery, which is stocked with high-quality authentic items such as ceramics, t-shirts, didgeridoos, woven mats, baskets, Elder Dolls, cards, stationary sets, boomerangs, wooden masks, spears and sculptures. You can also purchase genuine arts and crafts, paintings and prints created by local Aboriginal and Toress Strait Islander artists from the FIne Arts Gallery which is part of the retail store.

The Retail Store and Fine Arts Gallery is open Monday – Saturday, 9.30am and 4.30pm
