	The Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre will delight and inform visitors with its Exhibitions and performances, it provides an insight into the traditional and contemporary life and cultural practices of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and is an ideal venue for promoting their exceptional artworks to the wider world.

A variety of informative and appealing activities are provided by the Cultural Centre. These include

Traditional dance performances can be seen at the Centre. Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance troupe can also be booked to perform at functions and venues outside of the Cultural Centre.

Historic Museum
The Cultural Centre contains an Interpretive Gallery, housing an exclusive collection of historic and contemporary artifacts along with information that has been collected from within the Northern Region. Guided tours of the interpretive gallery can enrich the experience and are available on request.

Events and Functions
The Culture Centre - Townsville is a distinctive venue themed with fascinating traditional and contemporary Indigenous Culture.

You may choose to hire the Riverside Deck overlooking the Marina or our Performance space inside for your next function.

Retail Gallery
Gifts and souvenirs are available for purchase in the Retail Gallery, which is stocked with high-quality authentic items such as ceramics, t-shirts, didgeridoos, woven mats, baskets, Elder Dolls, cards, stationary sets, boomerangs, wooden masks, spears and sculptures.

The Retail Gallery is open seven days a week between 9.30am and 4.30pm
